Eurolingua Institute (Antigua)
Spanish language immersion program. Numerous language immersion programs around the World.
GLOBAL LEADERSHIP ADVENTURES This
1-week journey is based in rural town of
Tecpan, Guatemala. While only two hours from the
bustling, urban capital city, it is a town with very
strong Mayan influence. It is the home of the
Kak'chikél people who still maintain their
culture and language. In the morning, you will
volunteer with a local educational center for
children from local farming communities. In the
afternoons, we will learn about the local culture
and social issues facing the community - and also
meet leaders who are working to improve the lives of
the local residents.

Casa de Español Xelajú (Antigua & Quetzaltenango)
Founded in 1987, as the first socially responsible Spanish immersion program in Guatemala, CEX has become one of the leading Spanish programs in Guatemala and Latin America. With several academic agreements with major universities in the US, CEX can provide graduate and undergraduate credits in Spanish and Latin America literature. Our main goal is to provide one of the finest Spanish programs to our students. We have helped more than 7,500 students from all over the world to learn Spanish and understand the Guatemalan culture. We are frequently asked about the differences concerning studying Spanish in Antigua and Quetzaltenango. We believe that this depends on the interests of the student. If the student is looking for a tourist experience, we recommend Antigua because it is the most touristed city in the country. If the student is looking for language and cultural immersion, Quetzaltenango is the better alternative because there are not as many tourists.
