University Studies Abroad Consortium (Ghana)
USAC, a U.S. accredited sponsor of study abroad programs, has a program available for you in Ghana! The African Studies program is conducted in Accra. One organized field trip is scheduled each semester to areas around Accra. Should you choose to participate, an optional field studies course to Kumasi, Tamale, Mole and Mole National Park is available. Small classes and an excellent staff assist you in making this the academic and cultural experience of a lifetime. Prices are very reasonable. A summer program is also available. Please contact us for requirements, detailed program information or to speak with someone who has first hand experience with a USAC program.

Crafts at Aba House
Aba House is a cultural center in Ghana,West Africa where students live and work with traditional African craftspeople. Programs of 2 weeks-1 month apprentice students with Master craftspeople. Visits are also made to craftsvillages, art galleries and museums.
A program in collaboration with Rhode Island School of Design is being offered in July 2000.
