Ghana was the first African country to gain independence, and while the official language of Ghana is English, more than 70 different languages are spoken.

You will volunteer with grassroots organizations in the surrounding community.  During the program we will learn about the challenges facing Ghana with regards to health care, education, environment and poverty as well as the successes they have had tackling these issues.
